We will be having our first eLearning Day of the year on Monday, September 26, 2016. Students will not come to school that day but they will be participating in school from home, just like they have done on our inclement weather eLearning days. This day has been granted by the Indiana Department of Education as a professional development day for our staff. As a result of this exciting opportunity we will not be offering childcare or preschool that day on our campus. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause your family as a result of this opportunity for the Triton Central staff.

Typical Peer Openings Still Available
The developmental preschool classroom at Triton Central Elementary is still accepting applications for any preschooler who has turned 4 years old by August 1 and is interested in becoming a typical peer. This program invites those four or five-year-old boys and girls who possess age appropriate skills into our developmental preschool class which is taught by a licensed teacher. Typical peers serve as good speech and social models for our students who have special needs. We currently have 2 openings for this program. The children will be required to pass a speech screener. Classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. The fee averages $80 per month.
If you are interested in having your child participate in this program please contact Terri Branson at 317-435-7067 (before August 1), or Kevin Prickett at 317-835-3003 after August 1.
