Safety is the main concern in bus transportation; therefore the drivers and other school authorities shall maintain discipline on the buses. Students disobeying the safety rules shall be denied riding privileges and can not ride another bus when riding privileges have been denied.
Students shall be seated immediately upon entering the bus in the place assigned by the driver.
Students shall not stand or move from place to place during the trip.
Loud, boisterous or profane language or indecent conduct will not be tolerated.
Windows or doors will not be opened or closed except with the permission of the bus driver.
Students should be waiting at the bus stop 5 minutes prior to their regular pick up time. In case of an emergency causing late arrival of the student to their bus stop, the driver will stop, blow the horn, and move on with the bus.
All items carried on the bus must be held on the lap of the student. No glass containers of any kind are permitted on the bus.
Students are not allowed to bring food or drinks on the bus.
If a student needs to ride another bus they must have written permission from a parent or school official.
