Counseling Services

The counselor and student advocate at Triton Central High School will promote the physical, social, emotional, and academic growth of our students. Our goal is to facilitate their high school experience and to help them prepare to be well-adjusted adults in their life endeavors.

Mentoring Program

Academic Counseling

School counselor will meet with students for assistance with creating and maintaining an appropriate 4-year course plan. Diploma track, credits, GPA, graduation pathways, and test scores will be reviewed annually.

College/Career Counseling

School counselor will meet with students to explore post-secondary options, including college/university choices, scholarship opportunities, military options, trade/technical schools, and workforce options. Students and families are encouraged to utilize Naviance, the college and career exploration tool available to all students enrolled at TCHS.

 

Social Emotional Counseling

The Guidance department is available to assist students with social and emotional challenges. Students are welcome to request an appointment as often as necessary.
