Volunteers are needed for this year’s Shelby County Art Fest’s, “Art in the Park” Sept 12th from 9 AM till 2 PM at Blue River Memorial Park, if interested contact Ms. Lay by Aug 31.
TC Drama will begin rehearsals this Tues and Thur at 3 pm. Be sure to bring your script and your favorite pencil with eraser, as well as your homework for those down moments!!
Seniors, InvestED will be here on Wednesday at 1pm to talk to you about FAFSA and Financial Aid. If you flex or attend Blue River and would like to attend this, you are more than welcome to stay, make sure you communicate with your teacher at Blue River if that is the case.

Triton Central Boys Varsity Tennis defeated Hagerstown 4-1
The Cross Country Teams opened their seasons on Saturday at the Jeremy Wright Small School Invitational at Blue River Memorial Park. Five of the six runners were first-time runners for TCHS. Notable finishers were Audrey Morris, who led the girls team, and Jason P’Pool, who led the boys team. Both teams head to Rushville this Saturday for the Rushville Invitational.

If your senior wants to be considered for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship, please make sure they complete the Blue River Community Foundation Scholarship Application by September 1.
Students who apply during the Summer Cycle (July 1–September 1) and meet the minimum eligibility requirements will also be considered for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.
The application includes:
• Scholastic profile from the school counselor
• Personal essay (500 words or less)
• Two recommendations — one school-affiliated and one professional
• FAFSA completion
• General information, including activities, awards, and employment
• College plans, including applications, acceptances, housing, and intended major
