This is the Northwestern Consolidated School District of Shelby County with an important message. Our 2022-2023 Returning Student Registration is now OPEN! Parents will use their PowerSchool Parent Portal to complete registration for returning students. Parents can do so by logging in with their parent powerschool account at https://nwshelby.powerschool.com and clicking on the link labeled Returning Student Application on bottom left of the menu bar. If you have multiple students, each will have a tab at the top of the page and each student registration will need to be completed individually. The registration deadline is Friday, July 22nd so that we can plan bus routes and finalize schedules for this coming school year. If you are experiencing problems with registration, you can call the Technology Hotline Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 317-480-1298.

2022-2023 Calendar Revision
Due to legislation passed by the General Assembly in the 2022 Legislative Session, NWCSD will make the following revisions to the 2022-23 School Calendar:
Staff Professional Development Days scheduled for August 22, September 19, February 20 and May 12 will include 3 hours of in-person, on-campus instruction in the morning and 3 hours of asynchronous virtual instruction in the afternoon.
Students will be provided lunch on each day.
The updated NWCSD 2022-23 calendar is available for download from the district website (www.nwshelbyschools.org) Building specific information will be provided later this summer from your student’s Building Principal.
Our 2022-2023 New Student Registration is now open. This is for all NEW Students to our district. Information can be found on our website at https://www.nwshelbyschools.org/page/new-student-application. Our 2022-2023 Returning Student Registration will be open later in July.

Ivy Tech Community College Summer Bridge Program
This is just a friendly reminder to all students ... the deadline to sign up for summer school is this Friday, May 20th, by 3 pm. Please see the guidance office if you have any questions or concerns.
The Girls Soccer call out meeting is TOMORROW (Tuesday, May 17th) @ 6:00pm in the High School MPR. Any athlete thinking about playing should plan to attend.
