April 8th ELearning Day
April 8 Eclipse campus plan
Many of you are aware of the total solar eclipse that will cross North America on Monday, April 8, 2024. At this time, the path of totality is projected to pass directly over our TC campus. Local law enforcement anticipates 50,000 to 100,000 out of town visitors in Shelby County that day. All available public safety personnel and resources will be allocated to traffic control and other critical public safety needs.
Triton Central will be observing one of its 3 allowable asynchronous eLearning days on April 8. In other words, TC will not be in session in-person on campus. School will be held virtually in the same manner that is done for inclement weather. The campus will be completely closed to the public from 6pm April 5th to 6am April 9th.
The TC JV Baseball Game @ Beech Grove this evening has been canceled and now the VARSITY Baseball Team will travel to play the Hornets tonight starting at 5pm.
TC Softball @ Waldron this evening has been CANCELED.
The TC Girls Home Tennis Match vs Morristown this evening has been postponed to April 15th.
